LATEST NEWS6 August 2009: Another LAMP starts to fade... United Utilities Networks Ltd has installed Lailoken! It's been a while in arriving, but we finally saw the day when UUNL took delivery of Lailoken to begin their replacement of the aged LAMP system. UUNL will now start the process transferring data across and then the arduous task of re-qualification. We can hear the champagne corks from here...! :-) 5 January 2009: Lailoken CMS Approval Not only is Lailoken the only approved Windows based Equivalent Meter, but now it is also the UK's only Equivalent Meter approved for integration with CMS systems. In December 2008, Lailoken received the recommendation of UMSUG that it be approved for use as a CMS EM. This recommendation was ratified today by SVG making it a true red letter day! ICTIS has been working closely with WiMAC who also received SVG approval today for their CMS (remote monitoring) lighting equipment. The WiMAC equipment is utilised by Zodion in their Vizion equipment, and Harvard Engineering in their LeafNut system. It is also celebration time for PowerDataAssociates who gained SVG approval to be a qualified CMS Meter Administrator. This now means that Local Authority Lighting Departments who utilise the WiMAC equipment to control (including selective dimming) their public lighting, and who engage the services of a CMS approved Meter Administrator can look forward to reductions in their energy bill.
